Built in the late 12th century, we can still see it nowadays from far away in the middle of the French countryside. This cathedral is known to be the best preserved in France and was actually the first one in the world to be classified at the UNESCO. Constructed in the early days of the classical Gothic period, the main body of the cathedral was completed in less than 26 years, which explains its architectural magnificence and unity.
